More tooltips have been added throughout the product (especially in the Toolbar and on the Dashboard’s graphs) for clarity’s sake and better accessibility.
Passwords copied to the clipboard are now discarded after a few minutes in order to ensure maximum security.
Users can now choose a particular period of time to see their statistics for in the Dashboard. A drop-down menu has been added for the graphs “Amount of Data” and “My Digital Footprint”.
The possibility to disable the notification asking if users want to save an account in their Password Manager has been removed from the Settings. The permission is easy to deny case by case and it is useful to be asked each time in order not to forget the feature is active.
Notable bug fixes
Passwords containing “*” were not searchable in the Password Manager. It has been fixed.
Credentials in the Password Manager shorter than 4 characters could not be saved. This has been fixed and it is no longer a limitation.
The filter in the Data Manager now works properly, even when the Manager is opened from the checkmark icon in the Main Menu or Toolbar.
Opening the Data Manager was sometimes an issue. The loading process has been improved and doesn’t go indefinitely anymore.
Multi-criteria search was broken in the Alias Manager. It now works as expected.
The Smartfield Icon drop-down menu was inaccurate for several websites. The relevance of the menu depending on the context has been greatly improved.
Guiding tooltips in the Password Manager’s tutorial flow would sometimes appear where they shouldn’t. This has been fixed.
The User Interface has been improved with more company icons now displayed, scrolling issues fixed, and problems with cropped or overlapping text resolved.
Known issue we are working on
Our Browser Extension stops working when on the “Password Required” window on https://www.pandora.com/settings/info. We are investigating a solution.
Multiple bug fixes
When the Master Key was changed from another device, users needed to manually log out and then back in for the change to be effective. This issue has been resolved and there is no need for the extra steps anymore.
The activation of the fingerprint feature for authentication instead of the Master Key would sometimes make the app crash. It has been fixed.
Users who were leaving the app before the end of the setup were not offered the opportunity to resume the setup process. They will now be able to pick up where they left off.
The “back” button now works properly in the “Getting started” section.
Broken links (“contact us” on the welcome screens for example) have been restored.
A drop-down menu with a list of the most popular companies has been added in the Alias creation screen to make the process easier.
Suggestions from the Google keyboard have been disabled for the Master Key field.
Launching the new Smartfield Icon would sometimes trigger a loading loop. It has been fixed and the Smartfield Icon now loads properly and quickly.
Several improvements have been made in the User Interface of the Managers for more visual consistency.
The Tracker Filter doesn’t work with the Chrome browser. This is a limitation orchestrated by Chrome for which we currently have no workaround.
When first-time users were on a registration page on Safari and tapped on the share button, they would sometimes be confused about what to do next. A tooltip that points to the “+” button has been added. It prompts users to add an account manually in order to have the app autofill the registration form for them and store the credentials in their Password Manager at the same time.
The search feature has been improved. It includes a list of search criteria that is already open.
Thanks to a new algorithm, we can now better identify the nature of a field on a form, which helps retrieve credentials more accurately.
Notable bug fixes
The drop-down list of companies that used to be available in the “Company” field of all the Managers was not appearing anymore. It has been restored.
The “All Videos” icon was sometimes interfering with the other icons when the back button was used in the “Getting started” section. The UI has been fixed.
The text describing the Alias Manager’s graph in the Dashboard was inaccurate. It now properly describes the reason why the graph may not show any data yet.
Sorting accounts by password strength in the Password Manager was not working when passwords were missing. Now fixed.
The “pull to refresh” feature in the Dashboard didn’t work. It now refreshes all the data and updates the graphs each time.
Changing a Master Key is still an issue when users do it from another device. It works properly, but the user needs to manually log out and then log back in for it to be effective.
The Privowny Autofill feature has some limitations for retrieving credentials. This is fixed with the use of iOS 13.
