From the Browser Extension
By default, the Tracker Manager is turned on and will block all trackers. You’ll receive notifications on how many trackers a site has (you can turn these notifications off if you’d like). You can view tracker details, and block or unblock trackers across all sites or for individual sites through the Tracker Panel or the Privowny Toolbar.
Some media sites will ask you to allow trackers to view their free content, which is fair if you think about it, as they use the advertising revenue they generate by serving you ads to keep providing you free content. You don’t have to unblock everything though. If you’d like, you can play with the settings in the Track Panel and individually block tracker categories or individual trackers. For example, you may start with allowing the advertising trackers and block the analytics and other trackers. Open the Tracker Panel to toggle trackers on and off.
From your Android device
By Default, tracker management is turned off. To turn it on, go to the Tracker Manager tab and toggle the Tracker Filter setting to On. Android does not support individual blocking of trackers by site, category, or tracker. It is either on or off.
That’s it. Tracker management is a passive tool running in the background to protect your privacy, it is always working for you.
